During a diverse industry career that spans more than 25 years, Elana has worked as an insurance company underwriter, IT specialist, claim adjuster, excess & surplus line broker, and commercial marine insurance broker. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), and Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) professional designations from the Insurance Institutes of America. She is known in the industry for her energy, tenacity and can-do attitude.

A Seattle native who was raised on lutefisk and lefse on the mean streets of Ballard, Elana is an avid golfer, Scrabble maven, and history buff.
